Satoshi's Bitcoin Holdings Plummet to $71 Billion as Price Drops to $65K
Bitcoin's price has dropped back to $65,000, causing a significant decline in value for Satoshi Nakamoto's holdings. According to Arkham data, Satoshi's wallet remains untouched since 2010 and holds approximately 1.096 million Bitcoin. At current prices, these assets are valued at around $71.19 billion, a decrease of more than 48% from its peak of over $138 billion.
The market has been focused on the portfolio changes of early holders as Bitcoin's price has declined. Rafael, co-founder of Glassnode, believes that BTC's current support is not solid, with spot participation and demand both subdued. Spot trading activity and the daily spot turnover rate remain low, and trading in ETF and digital asset treasury-related stocks has cooled noticeably from their peaks.
The BIP-110 proposal has also faced resistance, only receiving 2.6% miner signal support according to Michael Saylor's statement on X. If support cannot be expanded, related nodes will reject non-signaled blocks after the designated block.
