Michael Saylor and Strategy Inc. have thrown their weight behind the CLARITY Act, a bipartisan bill aiming to establish clear rules for digital assets in the US. The Senate proposal divides oversight between the SEC and CFTC, and also sets up registration routes for exchanges, brokers, dealers, and custodians.

The endorsement comes as institutional interest in cryptocurrency grows. Strategy Inc., which holds 843,775 Bitcoin, reported a $8.22 billion net loss in its second-quarter results. However, revenue rose 6.9% to $122.4 million.

Saylor has been an outspoken advocate for regulatory certainty and stable protocol rules. He believes that Bitcoin's long-term value is tied to these factors. Strategy Inc.'s policy priorities extend beyond legislation to the financial and technical rules surrounding Bitcoin.
