Saylor: Bitcoin a Form of Digital Monetary Energy
Michael Saylor, founder and executive chairman of Strategy, described Bitcoin as a new form of economic infrastructure that converts digital scarcity into monetary energy.
He argued that while gold's physical scarcity translates into money, Bitcoin's digital scarcity achieves the same result.
Saylor emphasized that increasing the supply of Bitcoin is more difficult than expanding gold production, and integrating it with software and transferring it across borders is dramatically easier.
The Strategy founder also contrasted Bitcoin with traditional stores of wealth, such as real estate, gold, and equities, citing its global liquidity, fixed 21 million coin supply, and censorship resistance as key advantages.
