Saylor Blasts MSCI's Flawed Bitcoin Index Test
Michael Saylor, MicroStrategy's CEO, has fired back at MSCI, the global financial index provider. He claims their recent test of adding Bitcoin to a major index was flawed and misleading.
The test, conducted by MSCI last week, found that including Bitcoin in their flagship index could lead to an 8% increase in overall volatility. However, Saylor argues that this result is based on incorrect assumptions about the correlation between Bitcoin and other assets.
Saylor pointed out that the test used a flawed methodology, which failed to account for the unique characteristics of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.
