Saylor Clarifies Bitcoin Stance Amid Strategy's BTC Sale

Michael Saylor, Chairman of Strategy, has reaffirmed his stance on Bitcoin holdings, stating that he has 'never sold mine. Not one satoshi.' This clarification comes after Strategy authorized a BTC monetization program, which allowed the company to sell 1,638 Bitcoin last week, raising $104.73 million and reducing its holdings to 842,138 BTC.

Saylor differentiated his personal investment stance from Strategy's corporate responsibilities, pointing out that the company has disclosed since 2020 that it may buy or sell BTC to manage capital. He emphasized that their shared conviction in Bitcoin remains unchanged.

Longtime Bitcoin skeptic Peter Schiff responded to Saylor's explanation, claiming that Saylor's messages created a different impression and that he never bothered to clarify it. Schiff reinforced his continued criticism of Saylor and Strategy.
