The highly anticipated CLARITY Act in the US has faced yet another setback as its voting was delayed until after the August recess. This news has sparked reactions from prominent figures in the cryptocurrency space, including Michael Saylor.

Saylor, co-founder of Strategy, expressed his thoughts on the matter through a tweet. He stated that Bitcoin doesn't need CLARITY, but America does. In essence, he believes that the market leader is self-sustaining and can thrive without specific regulations.

This stance is surprising given Saylor's previous support for the bill. Last week, he emphasized the importance of bipartisan work in establishing clear rules to protect property rights and promote innovation. He also mentioned the need to strengthen American capital markets.

The delay in voting on the CLARITY Act has been confirmed by Senate Majority Leader John Thune. Although a vote is not scheduled for now, Thune assured that the bill will return to focus once the Senate reconvenes in September.
