Saylor Draws Fire from Gerber as Strategy Unloads $108M in BTC

Ross Gerber, a longtime Bitcoin investor and Tesla bull, has expressed concerns about Michael Saylor's influence on his investment decisions. In a recent statement on X, Gerber revealed that he had been questioning Bitcoin due to Saylor's involvement.

Gerber is not the only one with doubts; Strategy, led by Saylor, sold 1,690 BTC for approximately $108.6 million at an average price of $64,262. The company also raised $653.1 million through MSTR share sales.

Saylor has responded to these concerns, stating that Bitcoin does not need the CLARITY Act, although he emphasized that the United States needs it for its capital. He attributed his company's recent breakthrough in securing $15 billion in capital to the use of ChatGPT in designing a new financial instrument.

Interestingly, Saylor has claimed that he has never sold a single Bitcoin from his personal holdings, despite Strategy's latest BTC sale. The company is now tracking Bitcoin's 200-week moving average as a crucial support level.
