Saylor May Need More Bitcoin Sales to Support STRC

Instruments
BTC
Share

Michael Saylor's company, Strategy, has been selling Bitcoin to buy back its own preferred stock, STRC. The latest sale saw 1,690 BTC sold for $108.6 million, with the funds used to purchase 1,152,020 STRC shares.

Despite these efforts, STRC continues to trade below its stated value of $100. According to Peter Schiff, a Bitcoin critic, Saylor may need to sell even more Bitcoin and MSTR shares to support STRC's price.

Schiff has been warning about this situation for months, stating that the growing gap between Strategy's market value and the value of its Bitcoin holdings could lead to pressure on the company to sell BTC and buy back its shares.
