Saylor Predicts 30% Annual Bitcoin Returns While His Company Sells at a Loss
Strategy's executive chairman Michael Saylor made a bold prediction on The Diary of a CEO podcast that Bitcoin will compound at roughly 30% annually for the next 20 years, outperforming the S&P 500 by 1.5 to two times over the long term.
This projection is based on Bitcoin's past six-year compounding rate of approximately 36.2%, which Saylor expects to continue before moderating to 20%.
At 30% annual growth, today's Bitcoin price of roughly $64,900 would reach approximately $11.9 million per coin by 2046, surpassing the entire current market cap of gold well before that target is reached.
Saylor attributes this potential to Bitcoin's fixed supply mechanics and its superiority as a store of value compared to physical gold.
