Saylor Puts MSTR Hold Time at 7-10 Years Amid Volatility
Strategy Executive Chairman Michael Saylor urged shareholders to plan for at least four years of holding MSTR stock, with seven to ten years being the preferred window.
This guidance comes as Strategy works through a period of volatility that has tested even its most patient backers.
Saylor acknowledged that investors have felt pain from recent losses and underperformance, but emphasized that the company must be prepared for difficult years while executing its multi-decade bitcoin accumulation plan.
Strategy currently holds $4.8 billion in cash, mainly reserved to cover STRC dividend payments, although buybacks remain paused unless MSTR trades at a steep discount to net asset value.
