Saylor Saw It First: Bitcoin's Unique Advantage Over AI
Wall Street veteran Jordi Visser credits Michael Saylor, Executive Chairman of Strategy (MSTR), with being one of the first to recognize that Bitcoin is the only AI trade that artificial intelligence cannot kill.
In an interview with Mark Moss, Visser noted that Saylor saw years ago that his software company could not out-compete Big Tech in a zero-interest-rate environment. Rather than holding cash earning nothing, Saylor moved the company's balance sheet into Bitcoin, according to Visser.
Visser expects more AI-disrupted companies to eventually make the same choice, following the model set by Strategy.
Saylor owns as much Bitcoin as any other company, and he made this decision years ago, said Visser. This makes him the person who made the choice first, he added.
