Saylor Sees 30-Year Bitcoin Boom

Michael Saylor, co-founder and executive chairman of MSTR, made a bold prediction for Bitcoin's future. In an interview released earlier this month, he stated that he believes Bitcoin will appreciate by about 30% per year for the next 20 years.

This forecast is remarkably optimistic, especially considering that Bitcoin's value has already surged to $1.5 trillion from under $200 billion in early 2020. To put Saylor's prediction into perspective, a $10,000 investment in Bitcoin at this rate would be worth approximately $1.9 million after 20 years.

For comparison, the same investment in the stock market with an average annual return of 10% would only yield around $67,000 after two decades. This highlights the significant difference compound growth can make over time.
