Saylor Sees Five Key Factors Blocking Bitcoin's Recovery

Strategy's Executive Chairman Michael Saylor believes that Bitcoin is at a crucial inflection point, potentially marking its bottoming phase. He pointed out during his company's Q2 earnings call that $BTC had fallen to its 200-week Moving Average (MA), prompting investors to take advantage of the signal and add positions.

The 200-week MA has previously served as a key price indicator for Bitcoin, signaling its bottom in 2022. However, it remained below the level before recovering above it. Saylor notes that several on-chain signals currently suggest that Bitcoin is nearing a turning point.

Saylor attributed five factors to be hindering Bitcoin's recovery: artificial intelligence (AI) capital expansion, trade tensions, the ongoing Middle East crisis, the Fed rate policy, and the CLARITY Act delay. He believes these headwinds could become tailwinds if they improve, potentially leading to a positive outcome for the entire Bitcoin market.
