Saylor Sees Inflection Point: 5 Factors Still Holding Back Bitcoin

Michael Saylor, Executive Chairman of Strategy, believes that Bitcoin is at an inflection point and could be in its bottoming phase.

This is based on the cryptocurrency's drop to its 200-week Moving Average (MA), which has historically marked a key price signal for BTC. According to Saylor, this signal is currently 'up and to the right,' indicating potential recovery.

The 200-week MA previously marked Bitcoin's bottoming phase in 2022, but it took some time before recovering above that level. Currently, several on-chain signals suggest that BTC may be close to bottoming out again.

However, Saylor identifies five key factors holding back a strong rebound for Bitcoin: artificial intelligence (AI) capital expansion, trade tensions, the ongoing Middle East crisis, the Fed rate policy, and the CLARITY Act delay. He believes these headwinds could turn into tailwinds if they improve.
