Saylor Signals Strategy Is Back to Buying Bitcoin
Strategy's Michael Saylor sent a clear signal on social media that the company is ready to resume buying Bitcoin. His message, 'We're Back', echoes his past weekend teasers that preceded official announcements of new treasury purchases.
The pause in buying came during a challenging market stretch for Strategy's Bitcoin holdings, which fell into the red at one point due to a $75,385 average cost basis and over 840,000 BTC held. However, recent price recovery has pushed the firm's overall position back into positive territory above $80,000.
The company took advantage of this market stretch by focusing on stabilizing its balance sheet, building a $5.1 billion US dollar reserve, and introducing a dedicated $1.59 billion cash pool through massive common stock offerings.
