Michael Saylor, the founder of Strategy and a well-known advocate for Bitcoin, has spoken out against the need for regulation in the cryptocurrency market. The US Senate had planned to vote on the CLARITY Act, which aims to create a clearer framework for regulating cryptocurrencies, but postponed its decision until September.

Saylor believes that Bitcoin doesn't need specific regulations to succeed and instead argues that what's needed is a clearer regulatory framework for the entire US cryptocurrency market. He stated, 'Bitcoin doesn’t need clarity. America needs clarity.'

The Clarity Act aims to clarify the boundaries of authority between the SEC and CFTC, as well as establish a comprehensive market structure for cryptocurrencies.
