Michael Saylor, founder of Strategy, has identified what he believes is the biggest challenge facing Bitcoin in the future. According to him, it's not external factors such as government regulations or market volatility, but rather the erosion of its consensus rules from within.

Saylor compared Bitcoin's consensus rules to a constitution, emphasizing that any modifications would infringe upon the economic interests of participants. He specifically mentioned proposals like BIP-110, arguing that they undermine the protocol's neutrality and increase security risks.

He emphasized the importance of maintaining a simple, neutral, scarce, and secure base layer for Bitcoin, while allowing innovation to flourish on the second layer and application layers.
