Michael Saylor has reiterated his optimism for Bitcoin, calling it 'digital energy' that can store and transfer economic value. He made this statement on August 23 as the market price of Bitcoin surpassed Strategy's average purchase cost for its massive BTC reserve.

In an X post, Saylor explained how Bitcoin converts 'economic energy' into digital form and securely binds it to a person, family, company, machine, or state. This concept has no formal meaning in law, accounting, or technology but reflects his investment view.

Strategy's corporate treasury, which incorporates Saylor's thesis, held 840,447 BTC by August 16 at an average cost of $75,385 per Bitcoin. With the current market price above $77,000, Strategy's investment is estimated to be worth around $64.86 billion, a margin of approximately $1.50 billion higher than its total cost of acquisition.
