Saylor Unveils 38-Book Reading Plan for Bitcoin Leaders
Michael Saylor has published a reading curriculum for Bitcoin leaders that spans history, economics, technology, and leadership. The list includes 38 books, which he estimates would take between 755 to 953 hours to complete at one hour per day.
The reading plan is organized around eight core themes: civilizational history, geography, military strategy, uncertainty, liberty, capital, energy, and sound money. Saylor says these categories address recurring mistakes leaders often make, including misunderstanding risk, wasting capital, or confusing luck with skill.
The curriculum begins with works by Will and Ariel Durant and concludes with books centered on technology and Bitcoin. The final section connects the earlier themes with digital money, featuring Saifedean Ammous' The Bitcoin Standard and Saylor's own 2012 book, 'The Mobile Wave.'
Saylor advises readers to view every book critically rather than seeking ideological confirmation, comparing authors against competing scholarship and testing their arguments instead of treating them as certain authorities.
