Saylor Warns Retail Investors Will Shun Bitcoin's '9G Roller Coaster'
Michael Saylor, executive chairman of Strategy (MSTR), compared Bitcoin to a '9G roller coaster' that most retail investors won't ride. He estimated that only 1% to 2% of retail investors would direct a bulk of their savings toward BTC.
Saylor believes the crypto industry will need to combine 'the best of equity, the best of credit and the best of crypto' to attract more retail investors. He defined this as delivering double-digit returns and tax-deferred gains for equity, principal protection and consistent income for credit, and digital innovation and high growth potential for crypto.
In a recent interview with Natalie Brunell, Saylor stated that retail investors are currently forced to choose between 'massive growth and a roller coaster that's pulling nine G's,' referring to Bitcoin. He added that the next wave of retail participation will require the crypto industry to put its best features together.
