Saylor: Working 'Insanely Hard' Key to Success in Competitive Market
Michael Saylor, co-founder of Strategy Inc., recently emphasized the importance of hard work in achieving success. In an interview at the BTC Prague conference on June 17, he warned that being smart and doing what's optimal is not enough to stay ahead.
Saylor stated that the world is full of 'hyper genius' people who have nothing to lose and everything to gain. These individuals are willing to put in extra effort and take bigger risks to be successful.
He cautioned against believing one's own intelligence or talent will suffice, saying 'You have to work insanely hard to hold your position in a market of 8 billion that want what you have.'
Saylor himself is an example of the value of dedication. He graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with dual degrees in aeronautical & astronautical engineering and science, technology and society.
