Saylor's Orange-Dot Chart Triggers Bitcoin Purchase Speculation
Michael Saylor has sparked speculation about a potential Bitcoin purchase by Strategy after posting an orange-dot chart on Sunday.
The company's familiar tracker often appears before weekly treasury activity is disclosed, but this time its meaning is less predictable following recent sales.
Strategy last reported selling 1,638 BTC, generating $104.73 million in proceeds at an average price of $63,957. The sale was part of a broader effort to allocate capital toward preferred dividends and STRC repurchases.
The company's reserve holds 842,138 BTC, acquired for $63.51 billion at an average price of $75,419 each, placing the position near a $9 billion unrealized loss.
Saylor's post did not confirm a new Bitcoin transaction, and Strategy has several funding options available, including its $4 billion reserve and continued MSTR issuance.
