Saylor's 'We're Back' Tease Sparks Concern Amid Fragile Bitcoin Rally
Michael Saylor's latest 'orange dot' tweet on X has sparked both excitement and concern among investors. The message, simply 'We're ₿ack', accompanied by a link to the Strategy tracker, suggests that the company is preparing to add new Bitcoins to its treasury after selling 6,916 BTC in 2026 alone.
The tracker shows that Strategy has made 113 Bitcoin purchase events, with an average buying cost of $75,653 per BTC. This indicates that the firm's holdings are currently 3.36% higher than its aggregate cost basis, resulting in approximately $2.13 billion of unrealized appreciation.
With a total of 840,447 BTC and Bitcoin reserves valued at around $65.72 billion, Strategy is one of the largest holders of Bitcoin. However, the company's stock price has dropped by 7.34% over the past month, sparking concerns.
Despite this, Saylor's tweet has been seen as a positive sign for Bitcoin, which has surged by over 23% in the past month to $78,128.46 at press time. However, analysts have warned that the rally may be fragile due to a lack of strong buying in the Spot market.
