SBI VCトレード Discontinues Trading in APT, ETC, and OAS Assets
SBI VCトレード, a Japanese cryptocurrency exchange, has announced that it will discontinue trading in three assets by October 28th. The affected assets are Aptos (APT), Ethereum Classic (ETC), and Oasis (OAS).
The decision was made after reviewing the future service plan for these assets from all angles, with a focus on providing stable services to customers.
Trading in APT and OAS will be suspended at 1:00 PM JST on October 28th. Trading in ETC will also end at this time, although it has never been possible to withdraw ETC from the exchange.
SBI VCトレード has stated that customers who hold these assets in their accounts after October 28th may have them sold by the company at a later date, with the proceeds added to the customer's Japanese yen balance. The exact timing and method of sale will be determined by SBI VCトレード.
This move follows the exchange's announcement on September 4th that it would discontinue trading in these assets.
