Scaramucci Predicts Solana Will Overtake Ethereum in Market Capitalization
SkyBridge Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci believes Solana will surpass Ethereum in market capitalization, he said at the Solana Breakpoint conference in Abu Dhabi. According to Scaramucci, both networks can grow, but Solana is expected to expand faster.
Scaramucci holds a significant portion of his firm's nine-figure crypto portfolio in Solana, approximately 60%, and also has a personal allocation of around 6% to 7%. He emphasized that Ethereum will still have market share and could grow alongside Solana.
The SkyBridge founder attributed his bullish view on Solana to its transaction speed, low fees, developer accessibility, and what he called 'great tokenomics' through staking. Scaramucci predicted Solana's price could reach $300 to $400 by the end of 2025, contingent on improved U.S. regulatory conditions.
He specifically cited hopes for passage of the CLARITY Act, which would enable broader tokenization. Over five years, he projected the price could hit $1,000. Scaramucci noted that Solana handles more activity than the top 50 blockchains combined.
