Scaramucci Sees $100k as Catalyst for Bitcoin's Next Rally
Anthony Scaramucci, founder of SkyBridge Capital, believes that Bitcoin could rise again if it hits $100,000. He thinks this is because long-term holders who have been waiting for a big round number to sell their coins are now out of the market, and newer buyers are stepping in.
The price of Bitcoin plummeted from over $100,000 to well below that figure, resulting in a massive drop of more than 33% from its 2025 high. Scaramucci attributes this decline to selling pressure from long-term holders who viewed the big round number as a sell trigger.
However, Scaramucci also sees major tailwinds for Bitcoin, particularly with the convergence of artificial intelligence and blockchain technology. He believes that AI agents could use blockchain to track their activities, giving Bitcoin a more functional value beyond speculation.
