Scaramucci Sees $100k Bitcoin Target Post-Halving
SkyBridge Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci remains bullish on Bitcoin (BTC) despite the asset's muted price action over the past nine weeks. Speaking on CNBC's Squawk Box, he attributed the slowdown to miners redirecting computing power toward artificial intelligence (AI), capital shifting out of crypto and into AI stocks, and investors believing the market is approaching the end of its current bear phase.
According to Scaramucci, Bitcoin has spent nine weeks trading within its narrowest volatility range in five years. He noted that prices have barely budged since the Iran war began in February 2026.
Scaramucci expects the next halving to tighten supply and eventually put upward pressure on the price. He believes that as the halving cycle comes in again, it will cut the supply of coins, tightening the market and causing prices to rise.
The SkyBridge Capital founder downplayed expectations surrounding the CLARITY Act, stating that he doesn't see it as a major short-term price catalyst. He estimated the chances of the CLARITY Act passing at roughly 50% and noted that some senators remain confident that lawmakers can reach an agreement next month.
