Schiff Attacks Saylor Over Lack of Exit Strategy as Bitcoin Price Plunges
Peter Schiff, a well-known cryptocurrency critic, has made an unexpected statement in favor of Bitcoin. He claims that Michael Saylor's investment strategy is flawed and that he would have done things differently. Schiff predicts that Bitcoin will drop to $20,000 due to his alleged lack of an exit strategy.
Michael Saylor, the CEO of MicroStrategy (MSTR), has been a strong advocate for holding onto BTC as a long-term investment. However, Schiff argues that this approach is too rigid and doesn't take into account market fluctuations. He claims that having no plan to sell assets can lead to significant losses.
Schiff's statement comes after Strategy sold 3,588 BTC for $263.5 million in cash without modifying its Bitcoin holdings. This move has been seen as a way to maintain its dollar reserves while still holding onto its massive Bitcoin stack.
