Schwab Adds Chainlink as ChainSpin Locks In Fixed Supply
Charles Schwab announced on August 27, 2026 that it will add Chainlink (LINK), Solana (SOL), and Avalanche (AVAX) to its crypto trading platform, Schwab Crypto. The new assets will be available in the coming months to eligible U.S. clients, giving roughly 39-40 million brokerage accounts a regulated route to buy and sell LINK alongside traditional investments.
The move signals growing institutional comfort with established infrastructure tokens like LINK as part of mainstream portfolios. While staking, deposits, and withdrawals for the new tokens remain unresolved, Schwab Crypto currently charges a 0.75% transaction fee and operates through a separate crypto account linked to the main brokerage relationship.
Meanwhile, ChainSpin ($SPIN) has drawn attention for its tokenomics, which locks in a fixed 1 billion maximum supply with no mint function after TGE. The project's Stage 1 presale price is $0.0125, and over 25% of the opening stage has already been sold.
