Schwab Adds Solana, Avalanche and Chainlink to Crypto Platform
Charles Schwab has announced it will expand its crypto platform to include Solana (SOL), Avalanche (AVAX) and Chainlink (LINK). The additions come after a strong demand from mainstream investors, with these assets now available for clients to buy and sell through Schwab Crypto accounts.
The expansion is part of Schwab's goal to provide more options beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum for its users. The company began rolling out direct crypto trading in May 2026 and has since integrated crypto trading into its existing investment platforms, including Schwab.com, Schwab Mobile, and thinkorswim.
Schwab charges a 75 basis points fee on each crypto trade, making it easier for investors to access these assets without leaving the company's ecosystem. The platform also offers educational resources and round-the-clock customer support.
