Schwab Adds Solana, Avalanche, and Chainlink to Trading Platform
Charles Schwab, one of the largest retail brokerage firms in the US, has announced that it will allow clients to trade Solana (SOL), Avalanche (AVAX) and Chainlink (LINK) on its platform.
The three new assets will be listed on Schwab Crypto, a spot-trading product launched by the firm in May 2026. This move is part of Schwab's plan to grow its existing lineup with 'established cryptocurrencies that align with client demand.'
The addition of these tokens means that clients can now buy and sell SOL, AVAX, and LINK within the same app they use for stocks.
Despite the expansion, not everyone in the US will be able to access the tokens. Schwab Crypto is currently unavailable in New York and Louisiana, and it does not operate outside of the country.
Pricing for trading on Schwab Crypto remains at 75 basis points, or 0.75% of each trade's dollar value, which the firm claims is among the lowest in the industry.
