Schwab Crypto Adds Solana, Avalanche, and Chainlink in Coming Months
Charles Schwab, one of the largest brokerages in the United States, announced on August 27 that it plans to add Solana (SOL), Avalanche (AVAX) and Chainlink (LINK) to its Schwab Crypto platform. This move expands the service beyond the Bitcoin and Ethereum it already lists.
The firm detailed the plan in a press release published on August 27, saying the three assets would be rolled out over the coming months. At present, Schwab Crypto supports direct spot trading of Bitcoin and Ethereum, which the brokerage opened with at its May launch.
Adding Solana, Avalanche and Chainlink would mark the first time the brokerage has expanded that list since then, giving clients direct exposure to three networks that underpin a wide range of decentralized applications. However, exact listing dates for any of the three tokens have not yet been published by Schwab.
