Schwab Expands Crypto Lineup with Solana, Avalanche, Chainlink
Financial services company Charles Schwab is expanding its direct cryptocurrency-trading line-up by adding Solana (SOL), Avalanche (AVAX) and Chainlink (LINK) to its Schwab Crypto accounts. This move comes after the company began rolling out access to Bitcoin and Ethereum in May 2026, with the new additions set to be available through the same crypto account offering.
The expansion aims to cater to client demand for established cryptocurrencies beyond the initial two offerings, according to Charles Schwab. The three assets are expected to be added 'in the coming months', although a specific launch date has not been provided.
Schwab Crypto charges 75 basis points on the dollar value of each trade, and the new additions will be subject to this same trading charge.
