Schwab Expands Crypto Offerings Beyond Bitcoin, Ethereum
Charles Schwab, a Wall Street giant, has expanded its crypto trading service beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum. The company's Schwab Crypto platform will now offer clients direct access to five cryptocurrencies: Solana (SOL), Chainlink (LINK), Avalanche (AVAX), in addition to the initial offerings of Bitcoin and Ethereum.
The new additions come just a few months after the launch of the crypto-focused platform in May. According to Charles Schwab, these won't be the last altcoins added, as the company plans to introduce more digital assets over time.
Charles Schwab clients can view and trade their crypto holdings alongside traditional investments on its website, mobile application, and thinkorswim platform. The company charges a fee of 75 basis points on the dollar value of each transaction.
