Schwab Expands Crypto Offerings with Solana, Avalanche, and Chainlink Support
Charles Schwab is expanding its cryptocurrency offerings by adding support for Solana (SOL), Avalanche (AVAX), and Chainlink (LINK) to its platform. This move follows the launch of its Schwab Crypto service in May, which initially supported Bitcoin and Ethereum. The firm plans to expand its list of digital assets over time.
The addition of these three cryptocurrencies will enable clients to directly buy and sell SOL, AVAX, and LINK on the platform. Schwab charges a 0.75% fee for each crypto transaction.
This development is significant as it provides more options for investors looking to diversify their portfolios with digital assets. However, it's essential for users to be aware of the fees associated with trading these cryptocurrencies on the platform.
