Schwab Expands Crypto Platform Beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum
Financial services giant Charles Schwab is expanding its crypto trading platform beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum. The company plans to add Solana, Avalanche, and Chainlink to its platform in the coming months.
Schwab Crypto began rolling out direct Bitcoin and Ethereum trading to select retail clients in May, but these new additions will give customers more options for building a digital asset allocation.
The fee for each trade on Schwab's crypto platform is 0.75%, or $7.50 on a $1,000 transaction, which the company describes as among the lowest in the industry.
