Schwab Expands Crypto Platform with SOL, AVAX, and LINK Additions
Charles Schwab is expanding its cryptocurrency offerings beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum by adding Solana (SOL), Avalanche (AVAX), and Chainlink (LINK) to its platform. This move allows eligible clients to buy and sell these tokens through their existing financial accounts.
The company has announced that it will charge a 0.75% fee on each crypto trade, with no exact launch date provided for the new assets. The addition of these three digital assets expands Schwab's crypto platform, which was launched in May 2026 with Bitcoin and Ethereum.
According to Joe Vietri, head of digital assets at Charles Schwab, 'clients will have more choices to build a digital asset allocation alongside the investing and banking experience they know and trust at Schwab.'
