Schwartz Reassures XRP Community on Continued Involvement

Ripple's former Chief Technology Officer (CTO) David Schwartz, also known as JoelKatz, has hinted that he remains involved with XRP despite stepping down from his day-to-day duties at Ripple in December.

Schwartz revealed in September 2025 that he would be leaving his position as CTO at the end of the year. However, ahead of this announcement, he set up an XRP Ledger node to publish output data and researched other use cases for XRP.

Recently, Schwartz responded to an X user who pointed out that his hub was experiencing issues with the XRP Ledger network, derived from his own hub. He quipped, 'It was fun spending a few hours working like I used to and having a Zoom call with the team again.'
