Schwartz Sees XRP Outpacing Bitcoin in Market Cap
Ripple's former Chief Technology Officer David Schwartz believes XRP will surpass Bitcoin in market capitalization.
In an interview, Schwartz clarified that this scenario would not involve Bitcoin shrinking, but rather XRP growing faster than its rival.
He suggested that a future where digital assets are widely successful and grow, the XRP Ledger would capture a larger share due to its functionality and speed.
XRP currently trades at around $1.38 with a market capitalization of approximately $86.76 billion, while Bitcoin's market cap is roughly 18 times larger.
