Schwartz' XRP Holdings Plummet by 92%
Ripple CTO Emeritus David Schwartz has revealed his current holdings of XRP, stating that he now owns approximately 2 million units. This represents a significant decline from his peak holdings of around 26 million XRP, which is roughly a 92% drop.
Schwartz's response came after an X user asked him if he had sold all of his XRP and told him to be honest. He clarified that he has not sold all of his XRP, but did not disclose the details of how his holdings decreased.
The Ripple CTO Emeritus previously expressed regret over selling some of his early cryptocurrency holdings, including 40,000 ETH tokens at $0.311 and later selling them for a return of 321%. He has also spoken about selling XRP at $0.10 and Ethereum at around $1, citing an aversion to risk.
