SEC, CFTC Sue Goliath Over Alleged $400M Crypto Ponzi Scheme

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) have filed separate civil cases against Goliath Ventures Inc. and its CEO, Christopher Delgado.

The agencies allege that the company ran a $400 million crypto Ponzi scheme from January 2023 to January 2026.

Goliath promised investors returns from crypto liquidity pools but allegedly used their money to pay earlier participants and fund personal spending.
