SEC Chiefs to Headline Solana Summit, Spotlighting Blockchain's Institutional Future

SEC Chairman Paul Atkins will keynote at Solana Summit on September 14 in Washington, D.C. He'll be joined by SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce, also known as 'Crypto Mom,' who will participate in a fireside chat.

The event is designed to explore the potential of blockchain technology and Solana's role in modern finance. Rep. Tom Emmer and Sen. Cynthia Lummis are confirmed speakers, both vocal advocates for digital asset legislation.

Atkins has a background in regulatory strategy, having previously founded Patomak Global Partners after serving as an SEC Commissioner from 2002 to 2008. He's championed 'Project Crypto' within the Trump administration to position the US as a global leader in digital assets.
