The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) cancelled its Open Meeting scheduled for August 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM ET.
The cancellation notice was posted on August 13, 2026, by the Office of the Secretary, confirming the change in plans.
The meeting had been intended to consider whether to issue a release proposing new rules for a tailored offering regime for certain investment contracts involving crypto assets.
