The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) faces an August 20 deadline to finalize a plan for distributing a $123.1 million fund meant to compensate investors affected by Terra's 2022 collapse.

Tai Mo Shan, a Jump Crypto subsidiary, has already paid the full amount ordered by the SEC, including $73.45 million in disgorgement and a $36.73 million civil penalty.

The money is being held in a Fair Fund for eventual distribution to eligible investors, but determining who qualifies for compensation and how losses will be calculated has proven complicated due to a separate recovery process involving Terraform Labs.
