SEC Regulation Proposal Advances Amid Apeing's Pre-Launch Timeline

Share

The SEC's proposed Regulation Crypto Assets has sparked interest in the crypto space as it remains open to comments until October 20. The proposal suggests a $5 million route over four years and a $75 million route over 12 months, but these figures are not yet operative law.

Apeing, a meme-culture project centered on entertainment, engagement, community, and planned utility, has announced its own timeline. It plans to hold a presale in early September with audits scheduled in advance. The project's whitelist currently has over 12,000 registrations, with a Stage 1 price of $0.0001 and a target listing price of $0.01.

The SEC proposal is not yet a final rulebook for crypto projects, but rather a work-in-progress that can be influenced by comments from market participants. Apeing's project plans are similarly forward-looking, with the presale expected to take place in early September and the whitelist registration process requiring only an email address.
