SEC Votes Looming as Regulatory Landscape Evolves

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is expected to vote on the CLARITY Act by September 15, according to SEC Chair Paul Atkins. The legislation aims to clarify certain regulatory requirements for digital asset companies.

Meanwhile, in Thailand, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand has finalized the implementation of the crypto Travel Rule, which will be enforced starting February 27, 2027. Digital asset service providers will be required to comply with this new regulation from that date onwards.
