Selig's Crypto Rule Proposals Ready for Implementation
U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission Chairman Michael Selig stated that his agency has rule proposals ready to implement if Congress passes the Clarity Act, which aims to regulate crypto markets.
The Clarity Act seeks to provide clarity on how cryptocurrency trading should be regulated in the United States.
Selig said that regardless of whether the bill is passed or not, the CFTC will move forward with those rulemakings if they are needed.
