Senate Cloture Vote Set for September 15 on H.R. 3633 Crypto Regulation Bill
The U.S. Senate is gearing up for a critical vote on H.R. 3633, the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, which seeks to establish a regulatory framework for digital commodities.
The cloture motion, set for September 15 at 2:15 p.m., requires 60 votes to limit debate and allow the bill to advance to full floor consideration.
H.R. 3633 has already cleared the House with a 294-134 vote in July and received backing from the Senate Banking Committee with a 15-9 vote in May.
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse views this momentum as a turning point for U.S. crypto regulation, but it's still unclear whether the bill will clear the 60-vote threshold.
