The U.S. Senate has one day left to advance the CLARITY Act before lawmakers leave Washington for recess, according to supporters who are seeking 60 votes for a procedural step.

Chairman Tim Scott highlighted momentum behind Senate action, urging Senate leaders to schedule a vote before lawmakers leave Washington. Referring to Senate Majority Leader John Thune, Scott stated: 'This is something we should have the first vote on before we leave, without any question.'

The CLARITY Act aims to establish a framework for digital asset market rules that would support consumer protections and innovation. Industry leaders such as Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong and Strategy Executive Chairman Michael Saylor have continued calling for Senate action as lawmakers consider the proposed digital asset framework.
