The U.S. Senate has only one day left to advance the CLARITY Act before lawmakers leave Washington for recess.

Supporters of the legislation, which aims to establish a federal framework for regulating cryptocurrency markets, are seeking 60 votes for a procedural step in its passage.

Crypto advocacy organization Stand With Crypto has called on supporters to contact their senators and urge them to back the bill, stating 'This is it. One more day to get the CLARITY Act moving before recess.'

U.S. Senate Banking Committee Chairman Tim Scott (R-SC) discussed the legislation during an appearance on Fox Business' Mornings with Maria, saying 'Leader Thune has an opportunity to tee it up for a vote before we leave... The good news is we have the time to get it done.'
